CLAN WAR LEAGUE (CWL)
Quick Info:
Yes, we participate in Clan War Leagues!
We run two CWL leagues - one in our main clan and another in our feeder (The Bad Axes 2). Our main clan caters to the TH13/14s, while our feeder caters to TH12s and everyone below (TH11, 10, 9, etc). This allows us to get the majority of our clan involved and participating, no matter what townhall level you may be.
So don't worry if you're a lower level account, we'll find a spot for you!
WAR STRATEGY:
We have general war guidelines that help set the stage for each war. Although war strategy is always fluid, having a solid foundation to build from is part of our success. Listed below are a few generalities everyone involved in war should strive to follow:
Communication
This is the foundation on which every successful war hinges. Please communicate your intentions pre and post attack. Jump into chat and discuss strategy, ideas, thoughts, etc.
We have awesome leadership here who know their material, and they can help you build strats from the ground up or just make small tweaks and adjustments. We WANT you to be successful, and we’ll take all the time necessary to make that happen.
That being said, we know there’s a world outside of Clash (What? No way!). We are extremely flexible when a member communicates any issues during war.
As long as you’re making an effort to inform leadership when situations arise, we’ll make all accommodations necessary within our power.
Targets
Select targets that play into your strengths and attack strategy. Some base layouts favor ground over air, or vice versa. Go after designs that work with your preferred war methodology.
First attacks are always on a base you feel strong about 3-starring. This usually means hitting lower than your war rank. We do not hit mirrors here.
Second attacks are for cleanup and/or for remaining unclaimed bases.
If no base remains standing within your range and you have unused attacks, we war practice. All attacks must be used in war. This is a mandatory requirement and failing to follow this guideline without some form of prior communication will result in discipline/removal from the clan.
If you feel you won’t be able to implement all attacks in a war due to personal obligations, please opt out.
Attack Timing
TH7/8 members must use both attacks early in war, so be sure to have an army trained prior. We also make considerations for time zone discrepancies, so please let us know if you’re in a zone outside the US.
TH9/10/11 members and above are not under time limitation, but efforts from our TH9s/TH10s should be made to finish attacks in a timely manner, especially lower level TH9s and Th10s. This helps our TH11s and TH12s gauge if their help will be required and provides them time to accommodate when necessary.
TH12/13/14 members can (and should) make their first attacks early when possible, especially low level TH13s.
